In Haiti, where nearly 59% of the population lives below the poverty line, access to education and basic necessities such as housing often feels more like a distant dream than a fundamental right. I know this reality firsthand. Raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly as a market vendor, I witnessed her daily sacrifices to ensure I could attend school. Her unwavering resilience instilled in me the belief that determination and faith can open doors—even in the face of limited resources.
Following the devastating 2010 earthquake that left our community homeless, we found refuge through a local ministry that provided not only shelter but also hope in a time of unimaginable loss. It was during this moment of crisis that I came to understand the transformative power of compassion and the strength found in collective support.
That support deepened when REV HOME was founded under Global Partners https://www.gpartners.org
REV,” meaning “dream” in Haitian Creole, truly lived up to its name. At REV HOME, I was given a safe and nurturing environment, along with access to education and the stability needed to rebuild my life. That experience shaped the foundation of who I am today.
In 2019, I began serving through local feeding programs in my mother’s community. By 2022, I felt a deeper calling.
I founded Grace for Haiti’s Children—a faith-led nonprofit focused on restoring hope and opportunity for children & families in underprivileged communities across Haiti. Many of these children specifically have never been told they matter or that they have the right to dream. This work exists to change that.
Our mission, “One Child at a Time, to Empower Haiti’s Future,” is rooted in my own story. I was once that child—helped, seen, and empowered. Now, I carry that same light forward.
“Helping a child today change the power of tomorrow—because I was one.”

These visits include a presentation of our mission, vision, and ongoing efforts to bring hope and opportunity to underrepresented communities.
